Results Matter
Remember why you started working out? For most of us, it's to "get healthy" but really we had a spur of inspiration that was tied to an emotion or feeling.
We felt embarrassed getting into a swimsuit.
Inspired by a friend who looks healthy and happy.
Guilty we can't keep up with our kids at the playground.
Motivated by our partner to work together on a goal.
Scared by a health event.
Taking Action
In that moment of realization we take action and start on our own. Overwhelmed by this diet or that diet or which workout program will be the best...we slowly start to forget that emotional tie to a goal and slip back to the comfort of what we were doing. Motivation gone.
Here to Help
So, let me cut through all the information out there (after all, that is my main role as a coach) the workout doesn't matter nearly as much as the consistency. The nutrition part? Easy. Eat as much lean protein as you can, cut out snacking, eat mostly fruit and vegetables, and realize that even small changes will yield results so long as you keep showing up for yourself.
Don't let perfection sabotage progress.
