Today's blog will be a short read! It's all about doing the opposite of what most people think they need to do when starting a new fitness or nutrition routine.
Going All In.
I've been coaching people for 13 years in a row. I've owned Revelry for 9 of those years. If there is one think I understand, it's people. Specifically people who are eager to get in shape.
Another thing I understand really well are the steps and habits of people who ACTUALLY do the thing, and get in shape.
Let me tell you...rarely does going ALL IN equate to lasting results.
That mentality almost always means you are ALL IN or ALL OUT. Black and white. It's doing a Whole 30 Diet or back to Christmas cookies. In the gym 6 days a week or hitting snooze on that alarm.
Now let me share with you the habits of highly successful members.
*They show up 3-4x/week.
*Eat protein with every meal.
*Try to get to bed at a decent time.
*Drink mostly water.
*They are consistent with all the above.
Does that look all that hard? If your answer is yes, then consider that most started with just 2 days a week in the gym. After that we worked on some small diet tweaks. Then tackled some really bad sleep hygiene. The point is, we layered in habits that would lead to consistency over a long period of time.
CONSISTENCY = RESULTS.
